I am currently a student at the University of Maine in Orono, studying molecular and cellular biology and mathematics. Some day, upon graduation from college, I hope to become a biostatistician, with a focus on genetic research. When not focused on my school work however, my free time is often enjoyed by goofing off online (damn Youtube) or on campus with friends. I have always enjoyed reading and writing though, which also consumes much of that time. Most of the time, the pieces I write are short stories or poems but, this summer, I decided to be ambitious and wrote Life in a Trashcan, nearly 135 pages on my Open Office doc. It would probably be best described as a novella and certainly a tale that I hope you all enjoy. Now, seeing that I have very few characters remaining, there is one other thing that I must mention. It may be last, but certainly not least; I have a beautiful fiancee, Elizabeth Pflugradt. Without her love and support, I honestly do not know where I would be today :)
